Congratulations to Kyler Wilhite of Hot Springs and Lake DeSomer of Jessieville, both students at Jessieville School, for winning the annual Knights Of Columbus free-throw shooting competition at the District level on February 12 at St John's School in Hot Springs. For that excellent achievement, both qualified to compete in the State level competition that was held on Sunday, March 27 at Morrilton High School. Kyler Wilhite was narrowly edged out for the state championship in the 13-year-old boy's division, while Lake DeSomer won a close battle and came away with the state championship in the 12-year-old boy's division. All members of The Knights Of Columbus Council 10208 from Sacred Heart Of Jesus Catholic Church are extremely proud of the determination and skill that both boys displayed throughout the competitions at the Council, District, and State events as well as for all of the other competitors who participated in these fun events sponsored by the Knights Of Columbus.
